The city is located by the sea, so it is famous as a tourism site for both Australian and international visitors. It is the second largest city in NSW (about 3 hours of driving from Sydney). It is a new and smart city with modern infrastructure. Living costs there are about 33% cheaper than Sydney.
The University belongs to the TOP 200 World in QS Ranking; the world, TOP 50 World in engineering and nursing, TOP 5 Australia in Business. The University has generous entrance scholarships for international students, from $8.000 - $12.000 per year (no specific requirements). Early bird applications get 2.200$ bonus.
