Foxcroft Academy

Established in 1823, Foxcroft Academy is an independent day and boarding high school in the safe, wholesome community of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Foxcroft’s student body comprises approximately 380 local day students and 100 boarding students hailing from 10 different nations. 

Foxcroft’s evolving curriculum includes 11 Advanced Placement courses, 25 Visual and Performing Arts courses, 24 offerings in Technical Education, and five World Language programs. Courses like Filmmaking and Digital Photography enable students to develop valuable modern skills, helping members of the past two graduating classes earn acceptance into 64 colleges among the top 100 of the 2013 U.S. News and World Report’s rankings.

Foxcroft is a leader in leveraging technology for learning, becoming the first high school in Maine to implement a 1-to-1 iPad initiative in 2011 and subsequently developing a series of iTunes U courses used by over 210,000 students worldwide. Foxcroft uses PowerSchool to facilitate anytime, anywhere access to grades, attendance records, and other valuable information for students and parents.
