Founded in 1891, the 120-year-old North Park is a private, richly diverse and conveniently located university in Chicago - the 3rd largest city in the United States. It only takes 30 minute ride from O’Hare International Airport to the university and public transportation is very accessible for students.

In North Park, we believe that all of Chicago is the classroom and all Chicagoans are the teachers. Our students are not confined to learning in a classroom but rather learning from the international city. We engage Chicago as our dynamic place of learning and service, embrace and value all people, and celebrate the complex global cultural tapestry of our school and city.

Currently, North Park has over 3,100 undergraduate and graduate students studying in 40+ majors and minors, including top majors in <Biology, Business & Economics, Communications, Psychology, Music and the Arts, Exercise Science and enjoy our new, $60 million science facility with 3D printers and cadaver lab at the same time. Moreover, with the 12:1 student to teacher ratio; and the average class size of 17, international students will benefit greatly from the faculty’s individual attention. North Park’s faculty own PhD degrees from MIT, Harvard, Northwestern, University of Chicago, and other world class institutions.

Chicago is consistently ranked as one of the world’s 10 greatest cities. In this big city, there are more internships than students. They can intern in a variety of local, domestic, and international organizations, and be prepared to live a life of significance and service. Vietnamese students have gone on to very highly ranked graduate programs, like Yale University.
