Location: (1) Hanoi, (1) Ho Chi Minh City

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent plays a leadership role for the Hanoi or HCMC Overseas Study Services (OS) team.  S/he is responsible for developing and successfully implementing a strategy to promote our OS services to students, parents, high schools and others in Hanoi or HCMC.  S/he also plays a key role in ensuring the success of related institutional services for clients and partners from the U.S. and other countries. 

General Tasks:

  • Serves as the point person in our Hanoi or HCMC office for overseas study and immigration services and related institutional services
  • Works in cooperation and collaboration with the admin and marketing team to market and promote our overseas study and immigration services to students and parents
  • Supervises the work of OS team and interns
  • Works in collaboration with OS team in both offices

Educational Advising & Institutional Services

  • Responsible for advising on oversea study and immigration, handling clients’ admission packages and contributing to the success of related institutional services, including fairs, info sessions, events and outreach activities
  • Arranges appointments with students, parents, university reps and other partners
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the OS database and client management system
  • Develops new markets (e.g., Australia, UK, Canada etc.)

Related Tasks:

  • Translation work, as needed
  • Provides input about other facets of Capstone Vietnam's work
  • Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferable
  • Conversational proficiency in English 
  • Excellent writing and reading skills in both English and Vietnamese
  • At least 2 year of working experience in customer services/ sales and marketing; at least one year of relevant professional experience in educational advising preferred
  • Management experiences and skills
  • Leadership skills
  • A solid understanding of the U.S. and other foreign education systems is a strong advantage
  • Excellent computer (e.g., MS Office) and presentation skills
  • Maturity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Dedicated, hard-working, detailed-oriented, and friendly
  • Flexibility, initiative and good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines, to multitask, and to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and cross-cultural skills
  • Ability to accept and respond to constructive criticism
  • Ability to travel and work overtime, if needed
