Dr. Ashwill, Managing Director, was invited to speak at a Washington, D.C. seminar organized by the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) for member institutions exploring opportunities in Vietnam.
Our first higher education and corporate clients were The University of Chicago and Hobsons, respectively.
Dr. Ashwill was invited to speak about "Vietnam, the Country" at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS.
Dr. Ashwill participated in a panel discussion entitled "The Intercultural Competence/Global Citizenship Nexus: What International Educators Should Know" at the NAFSA annual conference in Kansas City, MO.
Organized our first StudyUSA Community College Fair series in Hanoi, Danang and HCMC.
Organized a study tour to locations in northern and southern Vietnam for members of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) who were interested in exploring opportunities in Vietnam.
Moved to a new office in downtown Hanoi.
Organized a precision matchmaking trip to Hanoi and HCMC for a high- level delegation from San Diego State University (CA) who were interested in exploring specific education and training opportunities with pre-screened partners.
Opened an English Center in Hanoi.
Dr. Ashwill was invited to speak about “The Study Abroad Market from a US Perspective” at the Education UK Vietnam Country Partner Meeting in Hanoi.
First international boarding school fair in Hanoi organized on behalf of Linden Boarding School Tours.
Became a distributor of the International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP), which offers a viable, cost-effective alternative to iBT TOEFL, IELTS and TOEIC.
Kansas State University became an IAC partner in Hanoi.
Dr. Ashwill chaired and participated in a panel discussion entitled “Beyond Education Agents: An Introduction to Diversifying International Student Recruitment Strategy” at the NAFSA annual conference in Houston, TX.
Organized first StudyUSA Higher Education Fair.
Opened HCMC office.
Lane Community College (Eugene, OR, USA) becomes an IAC partner in HCMC.
Hosted a senior delegation from The College of St. Scholastica (MN).
